Joy of Cooking - A Must Have?

When I first started cooking for my family, the only knowledge I had acquired was from sporadically watching my parents cook when I lived with them.  Joy of Cooking 75th Anniversary Edition has been the all in one tool I have used to gain correct knowledge in food handling and proper techniques of all cooking styles.

I have been steadily growing my expertise in our home's kitchen almost five years now, since our son was born.  The Joy of Cooking as allowed me to become more than comfortable in the kitchen, as well as give me the confidence to break away form the incredible recipes listed in it's pages and create my own masterpieces!
